To foster a clean, tidy, and harmonious festive atmosphere, Taizhou Yingtai recently launched a comprehensive environmental improvement campaign, focusing on street sweeping and cleaning, public toilet services, and the removal of flyers. Through meticulous, standardized and thorough management, the campaign has given both urban and rural environments a completely refreshed look.

In response to the sharp increase in waste during the Spring Festival holiday, the company adopted targeted and well-planned measures, rolling out manual cleaning plus mechanized combined operations. Cleaning frequency was stepped up on main and secondary roads, backstreets and alleys, around farmer markets, and scenic spots. Sweeper-washers, water sprinklers, and mist cannons were deployed in multiple rounds of full-coverage washing and sweeping, effectively curbing dust. An average of 220 tonnes of household waste was collected and transported daily, ensuring streets and lanes were free of litter and waste containers were odour-free.
The company carried out targeted upgrades for all public toilets in the area, comprehensively raising service quality. A cleaning regime of three full cleans per day plus on-the-spot touch-ups was strictly followed, along with thorough disinfection and odour control, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment inside and out. Technicians were also deployed to inspect and repair water supply, lighting, and sewage facilities across the board, guaranteeing normal operation throughout the holiday. During peak hours, opening times were appropriately extended and cleaning frequency was increased, enhancing the experience for residents.

Sanitation workers carried out a thorough inspection and cleanup of flyers on walls, utility poles, bus stations, and other surfaces in the area. Depending on the type of ad and the surface material, methods such as adhesive removers, manual scraping, and paint-over techniques were flexibly applied to remove every trace with precision.
During this campaign, the company deployed 1,326 sanitation workers and put more than 80 vehicles on the road each day. Through an all-out, concentrated push, the environment of the area improved significantly, successfully creating a clean, beautiful, orderly, and harmonious holiday environment for residents.
